Not to be the devil's advocate here. But if the business if their life they should also know that things can change at any moment

Eh, doesn't sound like that is what happened though. WWE knew what was happening but still led Reigns on to believe he was going over until midway through the show. I guess you may do that to assure a big spoiler doesn't leak or something, but it seems a little shitty to me.

From what I gathered Roman knew pre-Wrestlemania. Brock knew since they told him during the contract signing. If Roman knew before mania kudos to him for keeping the kayfabe/news from his family.

They said that Rollins only found out during the show, not sure why Reigns would have been more privy to it than he. Maybe he was, but that's not what I would conclude.

Reigns now knows that he has to tell his father this kind of stuff to prevent a near stroke experience, again.

Reigns' push since his return from injury has been sabotaged.
Had he been squashing jobbers en route to the Rumble, the backlash would have been far less severe.
I still believe Vince is allowing this to allow Rollins to thrive and Reigns to falter.
This way, we head into a 'Bret Hart' type era as opposed to a legit superstar type era under the watchful of Triple H.

So we head into a Seth Rollins led era where smaller wrestlers are the rage.
I approve, but it won't draw the money Roman Reigns could have.
Triple H gets off on the wrong foot with an era that doesn't make money and Vince's ego is stroked for being the better booker.

Reigns could still turn things around, but his character lacks too much depth and Lesnar put him in his place.
It isn't his fault. No 'hulk' like character has ever been booked like such a p*ssy before.
