WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Booker T and WWE Diva Sharmell as of October 27. We wish both Booker & Sharmell he best in all their future endeavors.

I never liked him... never. good to have him released, now let them concentrate on Burke, he has potentials to take the role of Booker T in the near future imo. Shelton will never be a ME imo, so its only for Burke to get to that caliber in the near future.

Now that I think about it, it is quite true that Burke resembles Booker alot and will probably replace him on SD! Booker is still fit, but it's time he hand over the baton to someone younger anyway.

Booker asked to be fired and he got it. Of course, Sharmell left with him. Booker demanded that his contract be terminated and WWE told him to wait and see how things went...I guess Booker wasn't happy and...finally got his wish.
