The plan is to save a bit of dough by riding this thing for a couple years and then by a proper nice car down the line.

It's pretty nippy for its price range but its fucking french. So you're permanently waiting for something to go wrong.

God damn French!

2008 GMC pick up truck, 2002 Dodge Stratus and a 1994 Chevy Econoline Van.

Do you not want a fourth vehicle? Or maybe a fifth just to make sure you have all bases covered?

I will probably get another truck within the next year but it'll be another older model that some farmer just wants to upgrade from.

It's nice to have vehicles for multiple situations.

Is this complicated? A regular car for just travellin' in town, a work truck and my huge ass van for road trips/family and friends if we're goin' out somewhere.

No it was a genuine question.

I know people with 2 vehicles I just genuinely didn't know why you would need 3, potentially 4.

My Dad would sometimes have 6+ vehicles at a time along with his motor home. I guess this just normal for me.

Coming from a more rural area it's almost always work related reasons. Some people just drive their farm or work trucks all the time as a primary vehicle but a lot will have a more casual one and only use the work truck for stuff it's suited for.

Your dad is wise.

I've always been against french cars tbf, it was just a really good deal at the time and I was driving a 20-year-old corsa (my uni car) so I needed something that could actually feel safe at 120kph on highways since i was moving to big city.

Ironic as a Corsa was what I ended up with for my first car too.

I think they're pretty much the universal "Cheapest car I could find that still works" car.

Not gonna lie, that thing still felt less likely to give me hassles than my Peugeot though :heston:
