I don't think it's racist on WWE's part. There's a difference between hating a minority group and simply acknowledging that minorities don't typically draw optimal profit in your market. From a strictly business perspective, this is a valid justification even though it sucks. Most white people cannot identify with black culture. Unfortunately that's just a fact of life. And since most of WWE's viewers are white, they pander to their audience. Any sensible entertainment business would do the same. It's the same reason most Hollywood filmmakers are still hesitant to cast black actors in leading roles because for WHATEVER REASON it tends to ostracize the white audience and come off like a "black people movie". Likewise, the WWE obviously doesn't have any intention of taking less when they could make more.
