First, I want to say two things. I am posting this in the International Wrestling as this topic has to do with wrestling all across the world and the United States, and this means to be a serious and if all you are gonna do is come in and just talk about why WWE is beating everyone and add no real conversation points or anything of that sort, please take that elsewhere. Now, onto the point.

I am currently watching Triple A's Triplemania on Twitch, and Vampiro said something that got me to thinking. He said "Wrestling is in a Boom right now with everything Impact, MLW, Lucha Underground, New Japan (Pro Wrestling), Ring (of Honor), Cody and The Bucks with All In. Wrestling is getting more popular, becoming more available to everyone, how companies are working with each other to produce a better product, and how they many alternatives for people to watch who like a certain style. International Wrestling and Indy Wrestling are raising and in a Boom period."

When he said it got me to thinking. Is Wrestling in a Boom period right now? To which, I have to agree with. In the recent years, there is no mistaking that Indy, Japanese, and International have been making its raise and its voice is being heard. Though the best year of all of it has been 2018 with All In selling out and making news, AAA holding an event in Madison Square Garden, RoH and NJPW selling out Madison Square Garden and holding an event there on the day before Wrestlemania, Lucha Underground having some of the highest ratings in its past seasons, I believe, and a bunch of other things that have been making news and gaining attention. As well we have seen the rise of various promotions introducing a streaming service or partnering with a streaming service like CZW, RoH, NJPW, AJPW, AAA, and many more have done so.

Is Wrestling in a Boom Period? How long will last? Will, it soon die off or will it only gain more and more traction? Let me know what you think.

I don't think it is in a "boom" more so that it is just more mainstream. This is similar to what happened with video games and anime. At one time it was something most people couldn't just talk about freely with random people but now there are more people with more interests in each one.

It becoming more mainstream is in a sense a boom, if you think about it, but I get what you are saying.

I think the "boom" periods of wrestling are long gone. All these promotions have been around and done well for themselves for years.. The only thing major happening right now is 'All In' so there's a lot of hype around that show for some reason.. but I wouldn't consider it a boom period just because of that.

It's as close to a boom as we can get right now without another promotion getting a major TV slot.
Because we have not had this many wrestlers doing wrestling as a full time job in ages, in or outside of WWE

I feel like All In injected more life into wrestling for sure. It was a hell of an event. But as for boom, it's hard to say.

I don't think they're gaining more fans per se, but more "wwe fans" have started to look outward at more entertaining product.

I think it's in a boom period but it's in a "Slow & Steady" kind of boom period. Will pro wrestling ever be as popular as the days of the 80's? Probably not, but given the success of NJPW, Women of Wrestling having its own show on AXS, and All Elite not rushing it (they are set to have their first show in May) I would call it a boom. Given the success NJPW has had in the states, it's correct to say wrestling is on a uptick.
