Is it time for WWE to merge the Titles?

Whatever you people think . Belts are not going to merge in near future . There are 2 shows and they have different house shows which means , every house show neads a title . and whether you agree or not WHC is bigger than IC .SO Sheamus vs Del rio for World heavyweight championship sounds bigger and more important then SHeamus vs Del rio for US/IC title , given the fact the way they have been treated in past 4-5 years .

Title matches at house shows are pointless because all the fans there know they won't change hands. No point in two world titles, especially considering how little emphasis is put on either that this time. Less titles = more prestigious titles.

It depends more on the booking rather than number of titles . if they keep treating the WWE champion and championship like cena's bitch , how can you expect it be prestigious . At the end of the day , Title is just a prop in sports entertainment(obssessed) company . WWE is not UFC , here stars are bigger than titles .

Don't think them being defended on houseshows is pointless the fans like to see title matches also there have been title changes in the past, Bret Hart won his first WWF Title on what was basically houseshow people forget that.

Oh I know, but nowadays you will never see a major title change at a house show. Tag titles are the only ones I could see. I think it's a pointless argument against merging the two world titles though.
