Is It Finally Going To Happen?

Batista and John Cena both emerged into huge stars at the same time. They both won the world titles on their brand, and held them for over 8 months. These two are finally on the same brand, so are we going to get to see Cena vs. Batista?

Me personally, I would love to see these two titans go at it. This was always one of my dream matches/fueds.

Its obvious they will, we've known that for along time. But I have two requests... Firstly, when it happens, its for Wrestlemania, not some second rate PPV. And I want it to be face vs face, instead of heel/face... When these tw hook up, it should be awesome!

I hope WWE holds off on it til WrestleMania 25 comes around,
hey...notice something here,
WM 25 is around 10 years after WM 15(ka-Durrh?!!?),
and the main event for WM 15 was the DreamMatch Between Rock and Stone Cold.....
so could this mean that The Batista vs Stone Cold Cena is thee-next big-time money match?(Probably...)
and considering that WM 25 is in Houston,Texas(same place as WM X-Seven, also featuring Rock/Austin) then that could mean that Batista vs John Cena for a World Title , One on One in front of Several Dozens of Thousands of Fans(like lets say around 55,000 to 84,000 fans) and such....that'd be cool and stuff...ya-heard?!

It should be good... They won't do face vs. face though.. They might take that time to switch Cena to heel.. But then again they could use it to switch Batista heel and team with Orton and Re-Evolution or whatever..

KenFan that's a really good thought. I'll give you props for that. Yes! I'd love to see that match at wrestlemania. Maybe something like a cage match, street fight so it isn't the ordinary. I hope to goto WM next year, that'd be hella experiance.

IMO, I think WWE has been building for Cena vs Batista for years. It really reminds me of Warrior vs Hogan, with both being at about their peak of popularity. It should be face vs face, I'm sure that they could start hinting it soon.

any bet that will be the "RAW" main event of WM 25.. and the smackdown side of things being HHH vs Edge for the title or possibly Undertaker somewhere in there...(that is if someone else wins the RR and jumps in to that equation)

To push him, Kennedy was drafted at the end of the show and he was a major draft pick. Kennedy came out and was talking shit to Edge, obviously saying that he was going to be the next champ. So I'm pretty sure it'll be HHH vs. Kennedy vs. Edge, Edge vs. Kennedy, or Edge vs. Taker vs. Kennedy for the Title.

As for this, hopefully it's a face vs. face match and it takes place at Mania 25. Having this match at a PPV like...uh..Cyber Sunday or No Mercy would just kill the fued.

It will definitely be at Wrestlemania and here is how I would like for it to go down;

1. Cena takes the belt off HHH at Night of Champions.

2. Cena vs Jericho through the Summer

3. Orton comes back from injury and challenges Cena at Survivor Series,Team Orton vs Team Cena. If his team wins, he gets a title shot . Team Orton consists of Orton, DiBiase, Rhodes, Jericho, Cade. Team Cena consists of Cena, HBK, Batista, Holly, Murdoch. The final two are Orton and Cena. Batista comes in with a chair and hits Orton, getting Cena DQed and giving the win to Orton. Batista plays it up as an accident/poor judgement.

3. Orton vs Cena at Royal Rumble. Cena has Orton in the FU, Batista full blown heel turn, helps Orton win. Orton is the new WWE champion.

During the Royal Rumble match, the final two are Taker and Batista. Orton comes out and tries to help Batista win the match. Cena comes out and makes the save, giving the win to Undertaker.

4. So this sets up....Orton vs Taker for the WWE Championship and Batista vs Cena in a grudge match.

My reasoning, Orton cuts a deal with his former buddy that if Batista helps Orton win the WWE title, Orton will help Batista win the Rumble and ultimately win the World Title.

Batista vs Cena doesn;t need a belt to be kick ass. Orton vs Taker has been done before, but not for the title and not when Orton was this over. On the SD side, I'm pretty sure HHH vs Edge is already penciled in.

Early Mania Prediction;

Orton vs Taker for the WWE title
HHH vs Edge for the WHC
Cena vs Batista

I expect Batista to win sunday night and go into a feud with Cena, then Orton, then HBK/Jericho, then again with Cena going into WrestleMania

which ever one of these guys beats Edge or HHH and wins their title and brings it to RAW, the other one will turn on the champ and fight for the title...It could/should be good and I am waiting for it (GO CENA)

For some reason I enjoy Heel vs. Heel or Face Vs. Face matches more.

Would not be a great match. Don't personally want to see either of them hold the top belt. I know that's wishful thinking, but I'm honestly bored of both of them... unless Batista turns heel with the new Evolution rumour...
