The last time I checked, the script is what they go by when they film. And creative ideas are also what are put on tv. So actually, Jarrett and Russo both suck.

The script is how the booking plays out.

Here's a tentative schedule of how it works.

Creative tosses around ideas
Jarrett takes these ideas and books a show
Russo takes the booking he's given, and writes the working script
Jarrett takes the working script and improves it or approves it

The second part is the important one. Because everything works around Jarrett's booking. Everything that goes on TV, is Jarrett's vision.

So, if you want to blame anyone, blame Jarrett.
