Relax dudemeister! If he wants to be a world champion TNA is his only hope.if he wants exposure and more money, but job, he can stay where he is. Vince doesn't seem to have any confidence in him main eventing, especially if they're going to stick to one world title.

I never expect him to be champ, just relevant. He is too talented to be nothing like he is now. They clearly had some faith in him at some point, its not out of the realm of possibility that he can regain favor in the company.

I wish like hell DZ would decide to go be the big fish in the little pond. It would be good for both he and TNA. maybe he can do like Christian and go over there, win the world title and come back to WWE a few years later.

It's all about what he wants in the end. Does he prefer money or kayfabe recognition?

I can't imagine WWE pays its enhancement talent much more than TNA would offer him to be the man to carry the company for an period of time. It has to be negligible

I think you'd be surprised. Merch money alone would be such a huge drop off for him.

Considering how much less he would have to travel and he could actually get some time off here and there I don't think the salary difference would be a huge deal. Merch you might be right since he is a top 5 merch mover in WWE AND YET THEY STILL WON'T FUCKING PUSH HIM

I personally think his main event chances are a lost cause now. A random bit of pessimism by myself.

There's been people who had a loss worse booking than D'Z so I won't lose my hope just yet, take Punk for example he was booked in similar fashion and managed to rise back up.

Edge and Y2J are both guys that also come to mind who were in similar situations.

Edge and Jericho were never booked this badly after title reigns were they?
Edge was booked pretty badly after his King of the Ring win if I remember correctly, which was supposed to be the start of his big push. They dropped him. Y2J started feuding with the Rock from his debut, then dropped. So they weren't booked that badly after a world title win per say, but after big pushes/moments.

If I remember rightly Edge got put into a feud with Christian over the IC title which he won then Angle before getting injured. Jericho was back on by mid2000 at the latest when he started feuding with Benoit over the IC title bare in mind he won one title from Angle also. Neither really got dropped like a stone to the level Ziggler did.

True, true.

Could it just be as the dirtsheets speculate, that Ziggler doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut and all these small barbs he throws out ires management.

Would Joe in TNA be a better comparison then? Didn't Joe get dropped like a stone after the whole Angle feud, doing absolutely nothing until kidnapped by ninjas?

Yep Joe's drop was Blue as hell and fits more what's happened to D'Z MEM feud then he randomly joins that shit ends before he goes into the parking lot with a painted on penis then gets attacked and joins team hogan. Ah russo.
