As always, iPhone 5 is so behind...

Screen Size: iPhone 5 has 4". Phones now mostly have from 4.3" to 4.7"
Processor: iPhone 5 with that dual core while Galaxy S3 has quad core
Processor Speed: iPhone 5 has I think 1.2 Ghz and S3 has 1.4Ghz
Display res: iPhone 5 has 1136 x 640. S3 has 1280 x 720 (HD)
RAM: iPhone 5 has 1 gb. some versions of s3 has up to 2gb ram.
S3 has more longer standby and talk time for battery.

Everything else is the same but yah clearly S3 > iPhone 5. HTC One X > iPhone 5 also.
