Without the Match with Io Shirai vs Kairi Hojo from Stardom 5th Anniversary in 2016 I don't know if even continue watching Stardom let alone continue watching other Joshi companies. Io and Kairi were the two ladies that hooked me in for Kairi's toughest and Pitbull mentality in the Ring and Io's acrobatic skill to go along with technical ability man what a Match. They had Matches after that, but I remember deciding that day to become a Stardom fan for life.

No doubt I was talking on another forum about Io and Kairi years before they came to WWE and people were like who cares. Boy did that change for both ladies once they got to WWE especially Io who title reign to be was the best NXT Women's Title run since Asuka I feel.

It happens, man. I talked about several joshis and even other women wrestlers before they got big in AEW, WWE, IMPACT, or wherever, and people would just be like "Alright. And?" Sometimes you are too ahead of the time and get a wave before most and then boom. Everyone is on it and such. While, I don't watch WWE I'll agree that her reign has been the better one since Asuka.
