Who remembers the whole WWF vs. ECW/WCW? I sure do. Maybe it's just me, but I thought the invasion angle was some of the best wrestling/storyline I've ever seen. It was either you were for one or the other. Not to mention that you never knew who was going where. It caused controversy...and controversy makes EXCELLENT television. I was personally pulling for WWF (I was alot younger when it came out, so I was under the impression that the WWF was REALLY gonna die lol).

Now, as we all know, the WWF was victorious. No surprise there.

What if TNA did that?

What if TNA and WWE met and talked about another possible Invasion angle?

Think about it. TNA superstars showing up on WWE programming.

It would cause people to watch EVERY show
RAW
ECW
IMPACT
SMACKDOWN
EVEN THE PPV'S

Why does the wrestling buisness need to be split?

If thought about correctly and done properly, I seriously think that it could work

This is not a bad idea. But the fact that TNA isn't big enough to compete with WWE. And besides. WWE would just buy out the other company again...

It wouldn't work. The difference with the original Invasion angle was that Vince had already bought out ECW and WCW. Technically, it wasn't even a true "Invasion". It was just really, really new talent from other major companies appearing on WWE programming. Sure, they were alligned with each other to make it look like an Invasion, but they were still contracted at that point by WWE so it didn't matter.

What I mean is that Vince wasn't actually working with WCW and ECW when he did the original angle because well, he had recently bought them out for himself. For a TNA invasion to work, Vince would have to work with TNA management, and why would TNA want to co operate with WWE right now when they are trying to compete with them?

It just isn't the time or place to do it right now.

we could see some great matches......and it would be great....it's never gonna happen unless Vince buys TNA but if you forget about that for a minute and think about it I would love to see Orton vs. AJ Styles

Yes, but the possibility of that happening when TNA is trying to become alternative competition to WWE, is highly unlikely.

Plus, during the invasion WCW and ECW were genuine competition and WWE were afraid that their position as top dog would be lost. TNA can't even be compare to ECW just yet, so I don't think WWE would even consider it, especially since TNA would benefit with more air-time. And WWE wouldn't ever buy out TNA, if not the other wrestling companies will just try to make it big and be bought by WWE and it will never end.

I t would only work if either Vince or Dixie Carter bought the other one out. The only reason it worked before was because McMahon had owned ECW and WCW

I don't think Vince McMahon would work with Dixie Carter for a possible Invasion angle, If you remember Vince McMahon accepted that the Invasion Angle and Storyline back in 2001 didn't work so good with the Wrestling fans. If that didn't work how would a joint TNA-WWE Storyline work?

I wouldn't like to see that happen all over again. At the time it was good but not right yet.

Instead, I would like to see WWE invade TNA. In the end, WWE would win of course!
