The past few years, the IWC has butchered WWE for it's direction towards kids during the PG Era. The PG Era began in mid to late 2008. Most all of us can agree how exciting it would be for a new era to begin. WWE hasn't been as strict with the PG shit as far as cussing goes the past year, but it is still directed towards children. The gimmicks tend to get watered down as does some of the matches. I didn't intend to make this thread about bashing the PG era as we have seen enough of them but I have made this thread because we all want change and I am interested to see how members here would make the change. When Vince brought in the attitude era in 97, he made it public with a promo he aired on Raw.

If you could bring in a new era, what would it be based around, and how would you introduce it?
I would bring in an era that is emphasized more on wrestling ability. I would enjoy seeing guys getting over based on there work in the ring. I enjoy promos but I would put more time and effort into matches on television than the promos. I would deliver more ppv quality matches on Raw and Smackdown. It wouldn't be too over the top but it wouldn't be a show based around kids, as more based around wrestling. Blood will take place when need be, and cursing as well. I would put more work into the tag division as well as the divas. I would have CM Punk retain his title over Jericho at Wrestlemania and pull another shoot promo out of the bag, where he says he vowed for change before but never truly received it. Since the WWE won't bring change, he brings out every member of the roster and asks for them to make the change themselves and not worry about what the higher ups have to say about it. CM Punk would be the face of this era as he would introduce it and everyone else on the roster would agree. More gimmicks would vary in wrestlers and wouldn't be watered down. You would see a lower to mid card match like Trent Baretta vs. Curt Hawkins receive some tv time to see how well there match could get over on wrestling ability. I would also bring up a handful of FCW guys such as Tyler Black, Xavier Woods, Dean Ambrose, Castagnoli, and Chris Hero. I feel like the true wrestling fans should get what they deserve and see solid wrestling contests take place every week without being watered down. My new WWE era would be called "The Pure Wrestling Era." We would see the WWE actually make the wrestling aspect in there product relevant and worry less about the entertainment as entertainment will take place with solid wrestling.
