Diamond Dallas Page did an interview with ForceofWrestling. A couple questions asked to him were:

1) If he could have one last match who would it be and why?

He listed The Rock because it would have been great to have The People's Champion vs. The People's Champion. He had envisioned that angle 2 years before joining WWE, but felt he missed the boat on that one and that was a big goal of his. The other being Randy Orton cause DDP mentioned that they both have the same moves and puts over his character as a heel. He loves that Randy Orton has the RKO finisher and isn’t upset with him doing the same move as the diamond cutter. DDP stated when it’s time for Orton to turn baby face he will be the hottest thing going and no one will touch him.
2) Any details if you are going to TNA?

His exact words were "As of right now no, none, I have no interest, but I am going to do some independent wrestling to see how my body feels. When you go to TV you need to be bringing your A game. I am 53 years old, I don’t want to be beat up like Hulk Hogan, walking around the way he does. Am I ruling out returning to TNA, no, will I return, well who knows. You would have to offer me the right money, it would have to be the right angle. You never rule it out, cause never say never."

On the stalker angle in WWE: Felt it could have went well, but that’s not Takers gimmick and blames himself for going through with it. As said in question 1, he pitched the Ppl’s Champ vs. Ppl’s Champ angle to Vince, but Vince said he would have rather have him come in as Undertaker’s stalker and said do you really want to do a Ppl’s Champ vs. Ppl’s champ, and regrets giving in to the whole angle with Undertaker.

On Vince McMahon: He respects Vince for what he’s done in the business. He has nothing bad to say about him, due to the fact that he made his own decisions. “Did he help my career while I was there? Hell no” , “Could he have used me better? Absoultely”. He states not blaming anyone for anything and has no hard feelings towards Vince.

DDP also mentioned his main priority is www.yrgfitness.com and to go check it out if you want to see what he's up to.

I didnt know he was so old. He must be speaking in Kayfabe to say Orton is better off a face

Why would he be talking kayfabe when talking about Orton. He doesn't work for any mainstream wrestling promotion so he shouldn't have too. I didn't know he was that old either though. I'm curious on what type of character Orton would play as a face though. I mean, he attacked/beat Vince, Shane, Steph, attacked Cena's dad, so it's like, when he turns face, he can't get that pissed over somebody doing that to him.

Its impossible to see a face Orton anytime soon. Only if he pulls an Edge and gets injured for a while

^People cheer Orton as heel... I really don't think it would be that difficult for him to get the fans behind him. You think people would care that he's beaten on the McMahons? All of the best faces in the business have done the same.

Why not.

Flair use to attack people in numbers...Batista...Triple H...all of them but when Orton and his two buddies Cody and Ted did it they acted as if it was wrong and stuff. Flair got pissed at Orton for he done when he did worst with the 4 Horsemen. Triple H has had alot of groups that he used numbers with to beat his opponents. But when Orton did it like I said they all acted like it was the wrong thing to do and got mad about it.

This is wrestling you forget that the writers want us to forget all that stuff and act like it never happened most of the time. So if Orton went face and someone did to him what he's doing now he'd be mad and no mention of how he was like that would even be bought up most likely.

For Orton to be a face, he'd have to do like an anti-hero kinda deal. I'm not saying he would have to do a character like Stone Cold, but there would have to be similar aspects (like not trusting anyone, just RKO'ing everybody he comes across, etc.).

^Yup...the fan acknowledging funny face would never work for Randy. Pretty much get rid of a little of the weird snake'iness of his current character and ya know....stop torturing people...lol.

DDP started out as a manager and did that for years before ever actually wrestling so it's not that shocking to hear how old he is. It's just not common for a wrestling company to push a new guy who isn't in his 20s-early 30s.

Well yeah back to DDP I always kind of liked him. Good on the mic, pretty decent in the ring.
Cutter vs. RKO feud! Just an entire match of push offs and reversals..lol

Yeah, I found out a little while ago how old he was I was like wtf.. Then again you have to remember how old Hogan also was in his prime days. He was in his 40's during WCW...

everyone knows how old Hogan and Flair is but DDP still looks good. As far as a Randy face i dont see it happening anytime soon. His in ring style is pure relentless and I think WWE is going to drop the Viper personality
