- Below is a promo for the WWE Intercontinental Cup, kicking off on Wednesday's episode of Main Event. The participants are The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Darren Young, Antonio Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow and Randy Orton. The winner will get a shot at Wade Barrett.

@PSachkovsky We use the section WWE forums and Events for Main event, NXT and PPVs. Also there is already a thread for the IC cup. I'll merge yours into it.

I like tournaments but why is there that Cesaro and Ziggler. One has MITB one has United States Title, this is bullsh*t. Hope they wont make European vs European title unification as Barrett vs Cesaro. I like Orton having match with midcarders. It allows them to show themselves.

Wade Barrett has just announced on his twitter page that he has managed to get the Intercontinental Cup cancelled so thats been thrown out of the window
