Well, I don't know how "innovative" it is really, but it's something unique that came to mind:
What if you booked a multi-man ladder match where both the Intercontinental and United States Championships were on the line, but were hanging from two separate hooks? I'm not talking about a unification match or even a "Winner Takes All" match necessarily, where the winner automatically gets both championships. Rather I'm talking just two titles being on the line in the same match, hanging separately from one another on opposite sides of the ring (far enough way from each other that you couldn't just reach over and grab both of them side by side without re-positioning the ladder), and the match ends when someone grabs each title from their hook, be this the same person or two separate people. Basically it's like having a two-fall match where one fall is for the IC Title and the other is for the US Title, only in this case it's a ladder match and there's no "falls", just two titles hanging from separate hooks, waiting to be yanked down by whoever gets to either of them first.
It's not the best idea in the world, but it's something different.
