I just remove my info after I'm done buying shit. It's tedious but I'm paranoid so...

This. Maybe it's an illusion of security, maybe not but I stand by this routine and it's what I use.

Also nice thread, I did know about deep web and I am the same in the sense I zone in on something and then researching that is prio #1.

That's why I don't think their two factor/security keys are not that reliable.

They probably are, assuming they aren't sending them in plain text.
Also, the credit card dumps you'll find online are mostly obtained through phishing scams. These seem to work best with teens and those who didn't grow up with computers and the internet.
