Independent star "Jurassic Juggernaut" Vince Steele passed away earlier today, PWInsider.com is saddened to report.
While details are still coming in, Steele was performing in Ridgefield Park, NJ for Brii Combination Wrestling, where he was booked as part of a Four Way bout. We are told there was a medical emergency at the show.
Steele, a NYC native, was a regular working in the Metropolitan area independent scene for promotions such as BCW and Mike Morgan's ACE in New Jersey as well as Florida's CCW. He also wrestled in Puerto Rico last year. He was only 39 years old and has been wrestling since 2004.

"We are heartbroken to learn about the passing of “The Jurassic Juggernaut” Vince Steele.
Vince’s matches in CCW are legendary. From his long-standing feud and later partnership with Cha Cha Charlie to his battles with The South American Alliance and Vinicious in the early days of Bash At The Brew. There was no one quite like Vince.
Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and his fans.
Rest In Peace, big man.
You will forever be missed."
