There are new Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions.
Bullet Club's Chris Bey & Ace Austin defeated The Motor City Machine Guns to win the belts at the Impact television tapings held Saturday in Las Vegas.
Austin and Bey challenged Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley to a title match in a backstage promo following No Surrender on Friday night. They teamed with KENTA to defeat MCMG and KUSHIDA on that show.
Yuya Uemura appeared to suffer an injury at the tapings as well. He landed on his head when taking a power bomb from Sami Callihan and their match was stopped early. Uemura needed to be helped to the back. The 28-year-old has been on excursion to Impact from NJPW since August.
Impact Wrestling has been taping in Las Vegas' Sam's Town Live since No Surrender Friday night. Full spoilers from Saturday's tapings are not yet available. Impact presents another set of tapings from the venue on Sunday.
