Oshawa, Ontario - (July 17, 2008) –Impact Wrestling Forums (IWF)announced today that “No Surrender 2008” will be held live at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, on Sunday, September 14, starting at 8 p.m. ET, and will air worldwide exclusively on pay-per-view.
“No Surrender” will be IWF’s first-ever pay-per-view event outside of the United States. The General Motors Centre played host to a sold-out IWF internet forums Live! show in December 2007, and also serves as the new home of the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
“We’re thrilled to be taking “No Surrender 2008” to Canada,” said IWF forums President Admin. “When IWF visited Oshawa late last year, the show was amazing with an electric atmosphere. Canada has always been a cornerstone of wrestling forums, from its in-ring legends and new talent to its passionate fans. We expect ‘No Surrender’ to be unforgettable.”
The stars of “IWF” on Spike TV (Thursdays, 9 p.m. ET/PT) will headline “No Surrender 2008,” including IWF World Heavyweight Champion chessarmy, Olympic Gold Medalist Monkeystyle, “The Icon” Peepshow, Hometown Kid, “The Phenomenal” Brian Kendrick's Biceps, "Big Sexy" LadyHotRod, “The Instant Classic” Roxxi Laveaux Fanboy, Kaedon, Montana, Blaze, TNA Tag Team Champions Mikeraw, Wrestling Station, Xtremebadass, “Black Machismo” Soulpower, and Dre among others.
