She was a Druid whose human father had an affair with one of the fae, this being the source of her "Gift" as she called it. She had to go out into the woods to get food and resources from a very young age because her father fell into a deep drunken depression after losing her mother. This gave her a connection to the local plants and wildlife. One day she was kicked out in one of her father's fits of mead-induced rage and guilt and had to go out on her own. Wandering to the nearest village, she accidentally started a local revolution by being kind to someone who turned out to be a mercenary and basically tripped her way into becoming a popular hero. She rejects the label, of course, and mostly spends her time doing simple good deeds until she's called up by the guild. It's 30 years after she left her home (but because of fae genes, she doesn't look a day over 21) and her old bastard father's probably drunk himself to death by now, but she feels like she has a purpose beyond proving him wrong now. What was your character?
