I think you’re gonna get what you want to be honest. I don’t think they will turn him, but I just fail to see how the story has the emotional payoff if the top Babyface beats the second top babyface in the company instead of having adversity of having to climb the mount from behind against a dastardly man that turned on him and the fans.

To put it in perspective, I don’t think mankind winning his first world title would’ve meant anything if he had beaten stone cold instead of overcoming the corporation and beating the corporate champion the rock.
