I don’t know if you saw it earlier, Chris, but I’m thinking they really could have had the Alexander heel turn on Joe at slam so that way they could set up a series of rivalries that ultimately lead us getting the belt off of Moose, onto Nic onto the newly, heel Alexander who Joe will finally get revenge on for eliminating him in the six away when he beats Alexander for the belt at the biggest show of the year bound for glory.

Joe beating Alexander for the belt at Alexander, that was setup at Slam, really feels like a proper BFG main event and a great way to finally crown Joe.

Nope. For some reason, anthem doesn’t like any of the TNA original matches except for ultimate x, they don’t do the lockdown or king of the mountain outside of I think that slam ppv two years ago.

they had it scheduled before the pandemic but haven't brought it back since it got canned then

Certainly not all of them because TNA had a couple bad ideas, but I think you should’ve stuck with at least the two pay-per-view centered matches that were annual in the lockdown and King of the Mountain but that’s just me.

While I agree, Lethal Lockdown (like Wargames) is kinda centered on a stable feuding with a bunch of people. That can lead to the same issues as when WWE did Hell In A Cell PLE where the big blowoff is happening because it's that time of the year

While I agree that the hell in a cell being an annual thing wasn’t needed because the cell match itself is more about the individual program. I think MultiMan matches are different specially wargames, because wargames has always been an annual tradition even before TNA, WCW had one every year for 10 years and even WWE now is looking like they’re going to be doing it every year which (NXT) had it for like four years. WWE is doing their second or third one. And it’s typically not very hard to get two teams of five built to when you’re getting around November, even if it’s not specifically factions, but wrestling is honestly more faction centered now than ever.

I wouldn’t be too disappointed if they didn’t bring back the every match having to be in a cage. One thing I will save in the early years of lockdown. At least they came up with like three or four unique cage matches like the Asylum and the Xscape match and stuff like that.
