I like that they kind of retroactively fix the build issue by putting in two people that have history with Joe but just at different times but combine them together you got a really solid story with Joe.

I agree with you, but the problem with Joe is that they melt it for years. It’s only been a month. Elijah will be good.

I actually think they kind of ruined Hendry‘s Ascension by having him do a lame dunk baby face versus baby face thing so I think it would be much better for Elijah to get into the main event when Kaz is the champion and you’ll have a good heel to work with.

the thing that hurt Hendry wasn't the baby/baby match, it was that he LOST to Nemeth to begin with. Honestly he should have gone from AJ Francis to beating Nemeth for the title

It was both in my opinion. It’s hard to really crown a new baby face by having him just simply beat the other guy the fans were enjoying and liked at the top. I agree, though if they were gonna do that match, it should’ve happened the first time. I don’t know why they did it twice.
