The show started off with Eric Bischoff appearing on the video screen announcing that the Band had been stripped of the TNA World Tag Team Titles. The Motor City Machine Guns will be facing the winner of a four team tournament at Victory Road for vacant TNA Tag Titles.

Magnus defeated Suicide. After the match, Magnus challenged Rob Terry for the Global Title and then they brawled before Terry announced that he would be defending the Global Title against Homicide next week.

Ink Inc defeated the Band in a semifinal tournament match for the TNA World Tag Titles.

Flair came to the ring with A.J. Styles, Desmond Wolfe, Beer Money, and Kazarian. Flair called the group ‘Fortune’. Jay Lethal came out and had words with Flair before a match between Desmond Wolfe and Jay Lethal was announced for later in the show.

Douglas Williams defeated Max Buck with a tornado DDT. After the match, Brian Kendrick came out and attacked Williams and put him in a rear naked choke.

Samoa Joe defeated Hernandez with an Exploder Suplex. Matt Morgan interfered in the match during the match before Joe got the win. After the match, Morgan attacked Hernandez, but Samoa Joe made the save for Hernandez.

Angelina Love defeated Lacey Von Erich. Before the match, Angelina cut a promo where she vowed to take out Velvet Sky next week and will beat Madison for the title at Victory Road.

Beer Money defeated Team 3D in a semifinal tournament match for the TNA World Tag Titles. During the match, Jesse Neal was on commentary and Brother Ray left the ringside area to attack Jesse. This allowed Beer Money to get the victory.

Team 3D argued after the match and then after exchanging some words, Devon slapped Ray and went to the back.

Jay Lethal defeated Desmond Wolfe with Chelsea. After the match, Ric Flair and Desmond Wolfe attacked Lethal. Hulk Hogan came out and Flair and Wolfe went to the back. During the match, Tommy Dreamer came out to watch the match in the crowd. Hulk Hogan put over Jay Lethal on the mic and then Hogan announced that Jay Lethal will have a match at Victory Road against Ric Flair.

Sting and Jeff Jarrett had a promo.

Abyss versus Jeff Hardy versus Ken Anderson went to a no contest. There was an incident that occurred at ringside that caused the match to be thrown out. After the match, Abyss attacked Hardy and Anderson. Abyss gave Anderson a black hole slam on glass and then he choke slammed Hardy off the stage and through a table.

Hulk Hogan came out and security had to separate Hogan and Abyss.

Firstly, good move to strip The Band of the tag team titles. Secondly, it was a stupid move to put the titles on them in the first place. Nash and Hall have no reason to be wrestling anymore and TNA made the titles look like a joke by putting the titles on them. Good to read that MCMG's are getting a title shot again. So far Beer Money and Ink Inc are through and will face each other to determine who gets the title shot.

Magnus back and winning makes me happy, I think the guy can go far if packaged right. Rob Terry vs Homicide next week and hopefully Homicide will win to take the title off my steroids Rob Terry.

Flair, Wolfe, Styles, Kaz and Beer Money now called Fortune. Not the sharpest name but good group of wrestlers for a stable.

Lethal against Flair is a great way to deflate his push. Flair, like Hall and Nash, should not be in the ring anymore. It's a joke that he is still wresting especially that it is on PPV.

Abyss turns heel finally at the end. He doesn't work well as a face, much better as a heel.

No indication of the change to TNA but it may need to be seen to see if there was any change.

Well almost all of this came out of nowhere. This looks like a pretty solid show. Most of the matches look good and the new angles look alright. With only Sting and "The Fortune" it makes sense to turn Abyss. Or at least make him a crazy tweener who will do anything for the belt.

Maybe this is part of the new direction they are taking? It is very match heavy which is good, eight matches in a two hour show is a lot and most of them sound good. I think that they will go for the full turn on Abyss and make him a full on heel rather than as a tweener. He would fit right into the title scene as a heel but as a face he just isn't mainevent material in my view.
