The first part of your post is spot on. I am delighted that Punk has been champion so long and is their top heel and the Daniel Bryan has been so entertaining, but the product is so stale, predictable and there are still too many ppvs, too many titles and a lack of fresh stars.

In what sense do you mean the two companies shouldn't be compared? Do you mean in terms of size and being richer or in terms of the current product?
Basically I mean in terms of size and money. WWE are able to put out 10+ shows a week, fill arenas, sell merchandise, make movies and all in all if you compare the two companies side by side WWE is a monster compared to TNA. Take for example TNA's stage, it looks like an indy entrance. Compare that with WWE's stage and it looks like a proper wrestling company. Being able to be the top wrestling company in the world isn't always about the talent you have. It's about the marketing, the model and the presentation. It can be the littlest tweaks that make things work for the better and will have people thinking "damn, that looks pretty good".

Oh I agree with pretty much all of that, but I would argue that WWE are not doing those things as well as they used to, and you can't live in the past. Even if TNA can never compete, they can still become a strong number two which offers something different. For the first time in too long time they seem back on the road to doing that.

Going live is working well and is the right move but they really need to get out of the Impact Zone. I tried to watch some Impact this week but I couldn't because of the presentation of the show. It looks so low budget with about two hundred people sitting around the ring, it is so quiet most of the time and you can hear what every random fan screams out. The filter they put over the screen needs to change as well because it looks low rent, they must be trying for a "gritty" look but for me it doesn't work. I watched Mr Kennedy's Anderson's entrance and that was about it.

They need to have PPV's on the road to make them stand out from Impact and it will bring in some extra money for them. I would leave Impact at the Impact zone, it is part of their idenity but they need to hail someone who is better with production values.

I agree.

What they also keep on doing is these silly backstage promos almost like cut scenes in movies and it is so annoying to watch. Everything about TNA at this moment in time just screams "INDY!" as oppose to a major wrestling promotion. Until they start taking iMPACT on the road they will never grow and become a better company. They need to get rid off all that gimmicky movie style rubbish first and foremost as they are a wrestling company!

I think that they should have outgrown the Impact Zone by now and it is making their product look inferior. I get that it is cheaper for them to do this but if they went on the road and booked small 2k seat buildings they could earn some money from ticket sales which they don't get from the Impact Zone. It would also improve their product because there is no way that they can find a worse crowd than the Impact Zone.

I like that most PPVs are on the road, and to be honest all should be, but Impact should be on the road a lot more often as well.

But then isn't the answer just to start charging fans to get into the Impact Zone? Am sure enough people would be willing to pay as long as prices were reasonable.

The charge to get into the impact Zone is paying to get into Universal Studios, what person in their right mind would want to pay for tickets to a rasslin show when they paid too much to get into the damn park.
