Interesting point. Trouble is if they started to take Impact on the road each week then it would be a gamble and attendances would suffer. One thing they should do is start to charge people, doesn't have to be much, but I don't see the sense in losing money every week by letting people in for free.
I would like to know why TNA let people in for free and who authorises such a thing. If we believe reports that state fans are being let in for free I'm sure that Dixie Carter would not be aware of this practice. I think that this is just rumours and gossip. Ever since TNA was likened to WCW everything about the company gets scrutinised and sometimes disinformation is released. TNA could easily find arenas that are bigger than their current location. More fans equals more money.

TNA is filmed inside an amusement park I'd consider it one of the shows. Have you seen some of the people in the arena are clearly not fans of wrestling rather just there to get out of the heat and get into some air conditioning before moving on to the next ride. As a fan Im not going to be willing to pay thirty dollars to get into a theme park and another thirty at the gate (conservative numbers on both) especially considering the whole set looks like it cost two grand. Your assessment would also require TNA to try and gain revenue something that I've never seen them try to do. They have to be spending more then they make. Their income is tv and ppv and thats it I'd say that's one of the reasons they tour very seldom I bet they lose money when they leave universal.

Back on topic. Its completely logical to due every show live because it helps convense fans to watch it live to get results instead of reading them weeks in advance. I mean sure you could just wait but a true TNA fan would want it live.

Actually they have done plenty right this year dare I say more than WWE? When is this baise towards TNA going to stop. Why can't you admit that they have been getting more right than wrong recently.

I started watching recently and haven't seen anything worth going back to watching.

And I don't have a bias, I just don't like watching shows that frustrate me, I can actually change the channel when I don't like something. TNA does terrible business moves left and right, they don't captilize on anything that they do right, mostly by accident and cut the legs from people who have the audacity to get over with people who actually watch their shows.

Staying live in an environment like the Impact zone is stupid, they don't make money at live gates and it is also more expensive to produce live content as opposed to taped shows where you can edit botched segments.

loltna.

So you don't think pushing guys like Aries, Roode, Storm and Ray in main events is a good move? You have the A&E saga which hasn't been flawless by any means but which most consider to be worth while. What about the BFGS? That is another example of TNA actually going back to basics and building something long term which was logical and easy for fans to get into. Just think it is backwards to knock TNA when they were doing the same old shit, but then when they actually start moving forward you give them no credit.

Are you saying the champion who didn't even have a match at their last PPV and is getting beat up by nobodies in gas masks is a push? This is Anderson type of push that is basically making him look like a dink instead of the top guy in your company.

Roode, ofcourse it's good to push this guy, but they should've done that 3 years ago. Too little too late and Storm is so wack he ain't worth dissing. A beer bottle and a superkick don't make him Stone Cold and HBK all rolled up into one, and why was his feud with Roode not for a title? That is what the whole fucking thing started about, it should've been the reason they have their giant blowoff angl. Illogical booking again by TNA.

And the BFGS? You mean the one Bully Ray should've won, but a guy with no build up won it? And why? So he would have a carrot dangled in front of him so he could resign and not go back to WWE. And what happens if he doesn't resign? Would make them look stupid again, like letting Booker T and Kevin Nash work a PPV for their main competition a night later.

Oh and why have Bully Ray beat you champion? And the Aces & 8s angle is slowing the shows down and killing evey other angle. And it's not even original.......How many giant factions have TNA done in the past 5 years? Every fucking year they do the same shit. Fourtune, Immortal, Main Even Mafia, Planet Jarrett and what Angle's was called.

Yeah they are moving forward. I'll give credit where it's due and they don'e deserve shit yet.

Fine and some of your comments are fair I agree that Aries has been overshadowed as champion and I agree that someone like Bully should have won TBFGS instead of Hardy, but that still doesn't mean that Aries having the title and getting the push he has got since arriving there isn't a good thing, and the format of the BFGS shows long term planning which put the title back in focus and is the sort of thing which WWE used to very well but don't anymore.

I think Dixie has finally woken up to the the fact that she needs to surround herself with people who understand wrestling, and I would rather have the guys booking TNA right now book for me than those TV hacks WWE have writing for them.

Just because a guy has the belt doesn't mean it's a push, he is transitional champion for Hardy, for some stupid reason, but thats what it is.

Dixie surrounded herself with who exactly? Bruce Pritchard?

Yeah and whats wrong with Pritchard? The guy has a lot of knowledge of pro wrestling, most of the guys WWE hail are TV writers who know nothing about wrestling.

Right, the same guy who was producing WCW in the dying days, the guy who was producing WWF during their dark period in the 90s is the uy who is going to turn around TNA, the same guy who doesn't want TNA to push the main draw for their shows....the Knockouts.

Yeah, he is better than those nameless/faceless writers WWE supposedly lets dictate the whole company.

As much as it pains me to say, I'd take just about anyone, maybe even Russo over Brother Love. At least then, we'd have some laughs.

Yeah but your one of the ones who has priased the TNA product this year so Prichard must be doing something right, of course there are other factors. Fact is the product is better now than pretty much anytime under Russio and is better than the dire WWE product.

The WWE product isn't close to being dire, and TNA is not better. It's better at times, was better almost all during the summer, but it's basically a toss-up which company will be better one week at the moment.

WWE's product is dire at the moment. They are lacking direction, ratings are down, their top heel is being made to look frightened of a midcarder and nothing has really changed for the past year or so since CM Punk promised to change the company for the better. I get the indication that WWE are scared to tell Punk that he will be dropping the title whenever that happens.

Really and truly TNA shouldn't even be compared to WWE.

Well I do compare TNA and WWE because they each have wrestling that I watch weekly and I decide which is more entertaining that week.

The first part of your post is spot on. I am delighted that Punk has been champion so long and is their top heel and the Daniel Bryan has been so entertaining, but the product is so stale, predictable and there are still too many ppvs, too many titles and a lack of fresh stars.

In what sense do you mean the two companies shouldn't be compared? Do you mean in terms of size and being richer or in terms of the current product?
