Impact Wrestling will be adding a new title belt to the company's storylines, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

There is slated to be an announcement tonight, likely on Impact Wrestling on AXS, that a tournament will begin next week for a new Championship.

We are told the belt is expected to be built somehow around the company's digital media and Impact+ streaming service.

I don't mind that. There is no men's secondary title, other than the X Division, but I don't view it in the same ilk of an IC or TNT Title, rather more like the Cruiserweight Title in that it represents a specific division. I don't know if this is something Impact needs but I'm sure it won't hurt. (as long as they book it better than the Global/TV/Legend's championship)

Yeah no issue with them having a more generic midcard title along with the X Division one. Whether they NEED it or not is another question but as long as it isn't forgotten for for entire year like the TV was that one time it should he fine

Being heavily focused around the digital makes me think a 24/7 type title. If any promotion in the US could do that concept justice, Impact is it tbh

Yeah I saw the Design of it it's not bad looking just the name doesn't sound like a Title I should take seriously at all. Should be interesting who wins the Tournament to crown the first Champion.

I watched the first two matches that I forgot about today lol they were lower tier than BTI level but I did like how D'lo called it a modern television title concept...just that nowadays it's all about the digital media instead. Helps rationalize the name in my head at least lol and the belt does look cool
