So, Less then a month, my baby nephew is due to be born. Well, they say it's a boy. Anyways, I'll be heading up there July 1st to see the birth. Honestly I can't wait. I think it's so cool to be able to say I'm an uncle, and that I'll have a nephew.

Growing up, I never had an uncle. I had 1, who died before I really got to know him.

I just want to know if any of you members are Uncles (or Aunts for that matter) and how it feels, and how you felt becoming one.

I'm an uncle, but I've been an uncle since I was like 2.

See I have 3 half sisters, with the youngest still being about 9 years older than me. The eldest had her first kid not long before I turned 2, which explains why I was an uncle at such an early age.

My youngest niece/nephew is about 3 years old, but I don't get to see them or my sisters very often as I'm in a different state. So, to say the least, being an uncle doesn't mean that much to me.
