Well my friends...the day is upon us...& Daniel Bryan is back!

Will things change?

How will they change?

My assumption is that he'll wrestle and WWE will put forth an effort to resign him. Hopefully he doesn't do it. He'd be a boon for NJPW and their attempts to get a foothold in American wrestling. Plus, I just like all the possible match ups that he'll have there. Hopefully he doesn't take the WWE bait and stick around.

DB dominating Smackdown Live facing the likes of Shin and AJ.... ummm yeah... that’ll go over big. I think he needs to have at least one more run, depending on how long he sticks around, as WWE champion. He is already so over yet again, that it would seem dumb not to.

The brand split gives DB the opportunity to draw in more ratings for Smackdown while also being world champ. It’s a win, win for WWE, and I truly believe that’s what ultimately drove Vince to finally clearing him. Keep DB on smackdown, keep reigns free from him on Raw. And since DB’s contract is up in August, who knows?

It’s a weird situation, and I’d love to hear more insider info at some point, but for now, I’m just enjoying him being back. DB has a buzz feeling like no other in recent memory.

Agree with @Jacob Fox.

I hope he does whatever he's contractually obligated to do with WWE, and then goes and wrestles elsewhere. His return to places like Japan and ROH would be huge.
