How can you know that about a group nobody has proved exists? It's all theory, you can't attach facts to theories like this imo.

Though I disagree with Panda, an organisation like this is probably worse than religion, luckily I believe it's complete fiction.

Oh I don't think it's better than religion, but I view the human species as fucked either way, why not make the most of it? :)

My uncle is in the masons. He has done and seen things you wouldn't believe. Including drinking menstrual blood from a woman. These things exist. Yes, they sound crazy, but they are for real.

He's talking specifically about the Illuminati, not all secret societies. There are many societies that are known to actually exist. The Illuminati is not one of them, it remains a fictitious group.

Its just a name to describe the people who run the world. Doesn't matter what you call them. They have the most money and most power to do what they please.

The Illuminati made a great storyline in the Metal Gear Solid series, but I don't think they exist in real life. There's no credibility to most all of the conspiracy theories out there (although I wouldn't be surprised if some form of 'higher government' did exist somewhere, but not a one-world government type of deal... Isn't the Illuminati supposed to be like 13 families working together to rule the world?)

I have no frickin' clue as to why I'm even bothering to respond to this, but.....

So, were the Templars Satan worshipers, atheists, a group of Catholic shock troops, or what?

And the Masons........I know, I'm not high up enough to know all the secrets, but....menstrual blood.....really? If your uncle told you that, he's yanking your chain because he thinks you are gullible.

So, there's one group out controlling everything. Okay.

You know, if I was going to play an enormous practical joke on the world, this is exactly what I would do. I would make up some fictional group that was supposedly behind everything since.....oh, I don't know, the building of King Solomon's Temple, maybe. Then, I would pin little idiosyncratic half-truths and outright lies about how they were using pseudo-mystical science that nobody seems to understand to make you do what they want you to do. Then, I would get my buddies in the music and film industries to start making outlandish claims about their fellow artists and how certain pictures on movie posters and album covers that only showed one eye on a person were symbolic messages to their followers.

Then, I would just sit back and laugh my ass off at the noobs of the world who bought into it.

Congratulations, kids. You are the butt of the joke.

The illuminati are a group created hundreds of years ago, make to be the illuminated ones. They are people who have passed into different sectors, but i doubt the illuminati are as much running the world as things like Skull and bones club at Yale, and the Bildeberg meeting held yearly. Those are the ones i see where i am convinced peoples opinions are officially being bought out. One great example could be the Koch brothers, so rich and powerful, but intelligent to deal with both parties. Wisconsin helped overwhelmingly in state votes (over 700,000 more than the governor race) to get Obama in, who is supported by the Koch brothers, while Scott Walker also won, being supported by the same group. That, my friends, is political sabotage, using power and influence of the simple value of a vote. The same reason, why for decades now people have said "i would vote for him, but he has no chance at winning." Because now days, american idol gets more real votes than our Presidency will. People vote how they are told, or in a lot of media cases, what they are feared into believing. America is most likely doomed, but we are far from alone in that.

JFK makes several references to a secret society. This was one of his final speeches before his tragic death.
