This will fail just like any other attempt to ban video games. Suppose they do, then people will either move out of state en masse, or go out of state to buy games, or just order them on Amazon.

Shit like this doesn't work.

How would this work with digital games? I feel like there's not really a way they can ban you from buying games on Steam or the Xbox store or PSN. even if it's like banned per state you could probably buy a code on ebay/amazon and redeem it.

Instead of punishing everyone, maybe try punishing the parents who didn’t teach their kids right from wrong lol

I have no problem with kids playing these kinds of games as I grew up heavily on Mortal Kombat and it never occurred to me to go out and rip someone’s spine out cuz my parents weren’t too busy playing FarmVille instead of raising me properly.

Also, I’m old enough that the internet wasn’t a big thing in people’s houses yet and Facebook didn’t exist.

Yeah, games at least have ratings on them so if it says Mature you shouldn't play it if you're under 17(even though we all did) but those young kids can get online and look up anything they want.
