UFC president Dana White reported on Tuesday that Gegard Mousasi will face Ilir Latifi, a training partner of Alexander Gustafsson, this Saturday night in Sweden.
Gustafsson suffered a cut in training last week and was deemed unable to compete by the Swedish MMA Federation.

"Mousasi will face Ilir Latifi this Saturday live on FUEL TV," White stated. "Latifi is from Sweden and training partner of Gustafsson."

Latifi is 7-2 in his career, having last fought in 2012 and defeating Jorge Oliveira. He has won three straight.

The decision to use a training partner of Gustafsson's was likely the only one for the UFC, as passports and clearance would have been needed to bring in a new fighter.

Interestingly enough I was hearing some news from Rashad Evans that this guy has some good wrestling, this could post some problems for Mousasi's style.
