I mean look the fact that the first three members of the hurt business are black kind of shows you where they’re going with it. Sabre bringin' up the Nation broke up 4 months after Owen joined. Shit happens fast in wrestlin', that's actually a long time. The Hurt Business survivin' 4 more months could be stretchin' it as it is. Also, that was the Attitude Era where anythin' could possibly happen week to week so 4 months, yeah that's a good chunk of time.

Owen had already been stuck in a stable for far to long and should have been main eventing on his own. Henry wasn't ready to be a main eventer yet, D-Lo had hit the Plateau, and Godfather was a gimmick wrestler. Without The Rock, there was no one to lead them.

I would say Cedric as well. Cedric would be perfect for a heel turn because he could say that he has so much talent but has been overlooked for too long and MVP can now help him achieve the greatness he desires.

I get your point. Personally I think the Nation would have ended regardless due to The Rock getting to big for the stable. I agree that the adding of Owen wasn't necessary. I would have just had him turn heel the same way,, just not join The Nation. Then we had a fued with him and Shamrock. Same thing can be said about Triple H and DX. Then again, it had run its course too.
