Is it still Dale Oliver who does their shit? Slay me is about his only decent theme if so imo, Jarrett has a nice one too imo.

TNA has good and bad themes just like any other org

Good:
Roode
Storm
Hardy
Hogan
Bully
Sting
Anderson

Bad:
Aries
RVD
Angle
Kaz/Daniels
Styles
Gunner
I'm sure there are a lot more bad ones. Just none popping into mind

Not a big fan of Kurt's theme as a whole, but the intro is pretty dope imo. I also dig Kaz/Daniels' theme, but I agree with D'Z on the rest.

You say remake, I say ripoff. Pay the money for the rights if they want to use it.

Well shit, I guess Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Joe Cocker all ripped off The Beatles Come Together. Or Run DMC ripping off Aerosmith's Walk This Way. Because you know, it doesn't take any talent whatsoever to remake a song, right?

Oh and, you still have to pay royalties for remaking songs if you're releasing it commercially. Which they are.

It's just a ripoff of "Voodoo Chile"

Now explain to me, in what way do either of these sound similar at all.

Hulk Hogans song is a "ripoff" of another song, but it isn't that. I'd hope you'd be able to guess what song it's a "ripoff" of, considering we're on a wrestling forum and all.

Well Hulk Hogan is Hulk Hogan, it's still his theme and whatnot, so they ripped off his theme to give him his theme....and it is inspired from Voodoo Chile, Voodoo Chile is a 15 minute song by Hendrix and then later he used it as a base for Voodoo Child, which is sometimes called Voodoo Chile as well, which is why some people call Voodoo Child, Voodoo Chile, but in all they are two different songs.

Those are covers, if you cover the song the original writer gets the writing credit and royalties from the song. Aerosmith and RUN DMC recorded together btw. All I know is the if I wrote a song from scratch, it'd piss me off to hear someone else making money off of my idea by changing a few notes.

Thank you, another Hendrix fan.

Aerosmith wrote Walk this Way first, then Run DMC played it with them for the record...and Hendrix is dead, he's not going to be mad, plus everyone knows about voodoo child, if you don't you need to go listen to it now or I'm gonna slap you.

Thank you, finally I get the whole voodoo child debate.

It's still an odd thing to me, but that's also why when you look for Voodoo Child on iTunes or whatnot it's called Voodoo Child(Slight Return) since the "slight return" is that it's from Voodoo Chile.

If WWE supertsars joined TNA their theme songs would be none of those, they'd all be terrible generic themes crafted by whatever idiotic composer they have over there.

I mean I agree partially and all, but you do realize that the majority of the lower carded wrestlers in the WWE don't have amazing themes too, right? For example:

Now try and explain to me how this isn't "a generic theme crafted by whatever idiotic composer they have". Oh, you can't?

Now, lets go to one of TNA's biggest baby faces:

Now try and explain to me how this is "a generic theme crafted by whatever idiotic composer they have". Oh, you can't?

There's many more on both sides, obviously more on TNA's side. However, I think people need to understand that the 'E is a almost billion dollar franchise, and TNA is nowhere near. Of course they won't have as big of a production value. However, the 'E still make AWFULLY GENERIC theme songs for anyone that isn't at least the upper midcard (still then, lolbarrett) and the majority of TNA's upper midcard and Main Event have amazing themes (Styles, Rooooooode, Angle, pretty much everyone but Aries).
