CM Punk is not a midget, Hornswoggle is a midget.

There's just no way in hell that Punk is "six foot two" inches, I'm not buying that. "Billed height" is 6'2. Meaning his true height is probably somewhere in between 5'10-6'0. He looked pretty much like Jericho at WM 28. In front of say, Lesnar or Orton he looks pretty small. Not implying that increased height equates to superior talent, by that rationale Khali is the greatest superstar of all time. No offense but card looks like pretty dull IMHO.

Wrestlemania 29 is in New York. If Triple H vs Lesnar really is set in stone, I'd love to see the crowd's reactions, it is one of those "smark" towns, yes?

Oh yeah. New York fans are brutal, if they don't like you. Seems like there's more smarks chants when they have shows at the Nassau Coliseum versus Madison Square Garden though. They're really close together, but for some reason, Nassau gets more chants.

Don't know why believability is being brought up against Taker since it doesn't matter because we all know who is going to win. So only thing that really matters at this point with Taker is match quality and I'm sure Punk and Taker could have a good match if they had to. As I said before though I don't want to see it. Not for some of the silly reasons brought up but because there is other matches I rather see Punk in and I don't really care to see Taker back anymore.

Because while me may know who will win, same with the audience, Trips and Michaels actually could hold you in the palm of their hand in a moment and make you hang on that 2 count multiple times and the proof is in the matches and what they took out the crowd . . Bullshitting yourself and disbelief to think Punk can, well ain't nobody got time for that, Cena or Brock or Kane or even Ryback are more believable

Fuck that, no way of all people CM Punk is going to end Taker's streak at this point, any one who tells themselves that at this point is either deluded or insane. If HHH, Michaels and Flair couldn't, no one can. Reminds me of the time when people said Orton was going to end Taker's streak at WrestleMania 21, like that was ever going to happen.

Where did that come from? No one even entertained the idea of Punk beating Taker. Point is you'd be bullshitting yourself to think anyone would end his streak esp guys who had nothing to gain from ending it. Orton was viewed as someone who had a chance because Orton had tons to gain from it and his Legend killer gimmick fit the situation perfect.

I didn't read the previous pages completely, I thought someone might have wanted Punk to defeat Taker, streak is pretty much set in stone. And with Orton I knew that he would win the feud eventually and it did put him over in a massive fashion, but come on....he was never going to win at Mania...only in the long run. (Or was the feud tied...I kind of forget.)

It's just that I'm more interested in seeing Brock/Taker over CM Punk face Taker, recall them having a memorable feud, almost a decade ago now? A search on google gave this very interesting result.

Calaway is also an avid mixed martial arts fan and has attended several Ultimate Fighting Championship shows, including a show where Calaway verbally confronted then UFC fighter Brock Lesnar. During a Calaway interview conducted by an internet show after UFC 121, Lesnar walked past him staring. Calaway answered Lesnar's stare by saying "You wanna do it?"

(IMO)

Punks this generations Jericho. He's good, he's talented but he's not a superstar.

Ehhhhh, I see what you are getting at, but Jericho was actually fun to watch, Punk is an absoute chore to watch on TV.

I guess he is "technically sound" (a polite word for boring wrestler) so a decent comparison would be Jeff Jarrett, a career midcarder with no personality who got pushed beyond where he should of been.

Punk is out of his depth and floundering as a champ, IMO he'd be better suited in the tag team division or on Smackdown where nobody can see him.

That's just utter fluff. You either know the streak will never be beaten or you're a casual fan and you believe anything is possible. You can't say that everyone knows the streak won't be beaten but then talk about certain guys being believable, it's either one or the other.

I see a lot of Punk haters and all I can see from it is typical IWC mentality the moment someone gets to the top there a vanilla midget there boring or they can't wrestle good anymore or they sold out.

CM Punk is over as fuck right now he's had a great title reign and has bought back a lot of prestige to the WWE that was loss because of Super Cena's laughing everything off and not taking things seriously he, Ryback, Kane, Daniel Brian and Dolph Ziggler are the only people on WWE worth watching right now the rest are either adjusting to new roles stale as fuck or just plain boring.

To Cork's credit, he's always hated Punk, but I get what you mean. A lot of people have been getting tired of Punk lately. I'm still a fan of the guy, think he makes the best with whatever he's given and I'm still happy with his title reign.
