Not really sure if it's that long, but I do remember them signing a long new contract not so long ago

Why are people saying that Goldust is better in the ring than Cody? Dustin Rhodes hasn't done anything good since 1994.

^Utterly confused by that as well. Goldust is a good 10 years at least past his best ring work.

you still need guys on the new brand to put talent over. you can't build the young guys up to be stars without glorified jobbers. so when you move them to new brands they'd have some credibility.

Did you not watch his feud with Sheamus on ECW like 2 months ago?

He really elevated his game and that shit was legit better than anything Cody has ever done in his career.

I did, and it was solid, but I'm not sure how long he's going to be giving a shit before he goes back to not caring again, like he's done for about 15 years now. And Priceless vs Cena/Batista, Priceless vs Kofi/Punk, Rhodes vs CM Punk, and a lot (not all) of the Legacy/DX stuff has been exponentially better than pretty much all that Goldust has done. Yes, Cody was working with exceptional opponents, but Dustin worked with Val Venis (when he was fucking awesome), Ken Shamrock, Christian, Chris Jericho, Owen Hart, Triple H, and the Undertaker.

You can't forget Goldust's awesome feud in 1994 with Razor Ramon, when he was as over as the likes of Hart and HBK.

Because Cody's punch/kick/dropkick/stomp match formula is really revolutionary and gripping.

Well, to be fair, I said he was good about 15 years ago. And what the fuck, Cody is really underrated from what I'm reading here. His selling is some of the best on Raw, and he bumps like the best. Plus he gets the "little things." A good example is when he had a tag match against Punk/Kofi, and they targeted the leg, so the next week when Cody/Punk went one-on-one, Cody went for the same leg right off the bat. It's things like that they 80% of the roster would never even think about, and apparently 80% of you wouldn't notice.

From what I've heard they've told both Ted and Cody to tone down their wrestling style a lot to basic beat downs and such.
To be fair I don't think we've seen what he or Ted can really do yet and Cody has improved by miles since debuting.
