Much like Austin when he was GM, handing out stunners to the typical heel defying the face GM type of stuff. But I cannot see him actually wrestling another match. But knowing the WWE a Mania match would be teased with HBK every year.

I was wondering the same thing. Stupid yes, because even if Shawn "retired" just to goto TNA, he wouldn't be able to go that quickly to compete at Lockdown, I'm sure there would be a non compete of some sort. But how is it disrespectful?

His contract is expiring. You're a free man when your contract expires, not that HBK would ever work a flea circus like TNA.

R.e: Flair: I don't think he's working because he wants to more than he has to work. Good lord, that's been covered here so much.

Not when their contract expires. Only when they are released. How can a company put someone in check if they have filled their obligations lawfully to their contract? C'mon, that doesn't make any sense. And just for more reference:
When a WWE wrestler's contract expires, they are free to do whatever they want. The no-compete doesn't come into play. The 90 day clause goes in effect when the wrestler is released from his contract.

That information is not correct. Because it was Taz himself who said his contract expired the day before WM25 and that he even told the WWE he would broadcast it for free if they wanted him too and they said no. So he was done yet then said he still wasn't allowed to go anywhere for 90 days hense why he didn't show up in TNA till months later.

I think under normal circumstances that may be true, but I wouldn't be suprised if the WWE started working 90 day non compete clauses into wrestlers contracts to prevent them from going straight to the competition by running out there contracts.
