The Comments during the Press Conference went as I thought it would go praising Ibushi, apologizing to him and then telling him where he went wrong. Salary Reduction I'm sure would piss anyone off but it is what it is. I'm more like I'm hope his Mom is okay sad to see that situation happen to his family and the Shoulder not being right scares me a little bit. Dude takes risks more than most High Flyers and they say his Shoulder is not in Ring shape yet but you don't get there by Training alone I feel. You get it back while in the Ring because when you haven't done something in quite awhile those Muscles are going to be stiff and rest does so much. Trust me I work in Flooring and after a few days you would think I would be good but sometimes sitting around doesn't do you any good no matter how much you stretch etc. I've been wondering what is the direction New Japan has for Ibushi when it he does return. I wanna see him back at the top of the Card hopefully he comes back stronger than ever and is Champion again sooner rather than later.

Regarding Penalties to Kota Ibushi and related parties​

During a press conference on May 27 2022 regarding events concerning Kota Ibushi and a member of NJPW staff (henceforth “The Official”), it was announced that both Mr. Ibushi and The Official would be subject to penalties as a result of their actions. Upon consideration, these penalties have been determined, and in the interest of transparency, are outlined below.

KOTA IBUSHI: A ten percent (10%) reduction in pay for the three month period between July and September 2022 as a result of a breach of contract.

Representative Director TAKAMI OHBARI: A ten percent (10%) reduction in pay for the three month period between July and September 2022 as a result of executive responsibility.

THE OFFICIAL: A ten percent (10%) reduction in pay for the three month period between July and September 2022, as well as a transfer to a different position as a result of inappropriate comments toward a wrestler representing a breach of duty.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling would like to once again apologise for the concern and inconvenience caused by these events, and humbly ask for your continued support.

Yeah, if you demoted your base pay is cut as well.
