Going to AAA would help I think. Hernandez is a good wrestler but hasn't really improved alot in the past year. Maybe a new enviroment will help. I've read that the main reason AAA is a little iffy on bringing him in is because he's really not known very well with the mexican audience.

He speaks spanish in his promos, he has the Mexican flag colors in his trunks and he brings his A game in every match.

How does Rey Mysterio do it?

Mysterio started his career in Mexico and AAA and continued to make appearances there even when in ECW and WCW. When WCW was closed he went back to CMLL in Mexico for a time. Plus his unlce is Rey Mysterio sr. which helps keep him on the Mexican audences mind. So he already had a nice mexican fan base before he came to WWE and then Vince seen the potential and really pushes Rey when they do their Mexico tours and shows or when they're in south/west Texas.

I think it'll be hard for Hernandez to stand out in AAA just because of the talent they have there and really AAA/CMLL are both more a gimmick style of wrestling. Probably the best way to try and push him, since he's really not that well known anway, is have him be an ordinary guy off the street come in to wrestle.

Right now he's just teaming with Morgan and doesn't look like he's going to be in the ME anytime soon, why not send him to Mexico, don't see how it could hurt him any.

Maybe try giving him some mic time and a meaningful singles push if you want him to get over. I get they are attempting to get him over in Mexico but he needs to be over in America first.

They may be in talks of a talent exchange too, which could send someone like ALex Koslov, Jack Evans or Teddy Hart to TNA as well.

I mainly don't see why TNA would want the guy to be over in Mexico. You might argue that TNA wants to exploit the hispanic market, but sending a guy to Mexico does nothing to exploit the hispanic market in the United States, where he will eventually return, add that to the fact that TNA doesn't even tour that much and I find it pointless.

Might as well send Desmond Wolfe to England so he gets over there as well.

I agree CMS. Why would TNA send one of the superstars they wanted to main event for the next several years over to a promotion that doesn't have as much exposure in the US? TNA is based in the US therefore he should remain in the US to get as much exposure as he can to the primary audience. He'll leave to go to Mexico and the americans will eventually forget about him because he hasn't really done anything except be a tag team champ. If that is something to be proud of then why can't Chris Harris headline in TNA? He won the tag titles too! Hernandez will come back from Mexico and nothing will change.

The difference between sending workers to Mexico and sending workers to England is that the Latin American market is a niche that mainstream American promotions have traditionally had a lot of success in. The same cannot be said for Europe.

Re, Enzo: I don't know, Hernandez has just not impressed me much since he has been split up from Homicide. This is beyond cutting promos, since neither guy is exactly The Rock on the microphone. I do agree that he's their best big man besides Tomko, though, which is why I like that they're trying unique ways to invest in his future. Right now I would not buy him as a credible main eventer, but beyond Abyss, Morgan, and MAYBE even Tomko, I see Hernandez with the most potential.

TNA is big in AMERICA. He should get over with the AMERICAN fans before being deported to AAA in mexico.

WTF HOGAN

This was actually in the works long before Hogan came along. I think they want to sell him to the Hispanic viewers more, be what Mysterio is to WWE.

The thing is, Rey Mysterio worked the other way around, he got big on Mexico and then got big on the US. Besides, Rey being over in Mexico is quite frankly useless except when WWE tours Mexico.

TNA would get no benefit from this

TNA wants their own Rey Mysterio? Like a wrestling program can't exist without a hispanic wrestling with a huge hispanic following? Is it that important to send a superstar, who could literally main event right now with the right push, to Mexico and sacrifice what could be a really great push that would be better than a large hispanic following? This could and probably will blow up in their face.
