Cept it's not right, and logarithms can only be subtracted if substituted correctly, which it wasn't.
So you're saying my professor is wrong?? Interesting.. Considering he's got the masterbook I would imagine it's right man.

It's not subtracting man, it's dividing the e^4x out lol since there's one on each side you divide it out. Regardless if it's a logarithmic function you can divide it out because it is a constant and it has an equal counterpart on the opposite side of the equation.
