I can understand your frustration with Adam. I think having him around can be a good thing though. He adds more activity due to the likelihood of people challenging his opinion and his knowledge. I can't see why the ignore button wouldn't suffice. Obviously I would choose having monkeystyle over a lot of people to be here, I just don't feel it is necessary to ban some one with out good cause. Especially when more often than not his posts usually create some sort of response out of people, whether negative or not.

YOU said we could treat him like LKP. He brings nothing to the table besides people responding with how dumb he is. That isn't a positive or negative response, that's beating a dead horse. He was banned not because of monk pulling an Adam and attention whoring with a spam fest, but because dude posts to see himself post. Almost 900 posts of which only maybe a hundred have been warranted. Terrible shit like his is as much to blame for lost posters more than a month of no validation emails, no one is going to want to be part of a forum when a mite like Adam is the most active poster who obviously is reading wiki as he's posting.

I know that I am probably being ridiculous but I never thought that I could dislike anymore than I do John but Adam takes the fucking cake. And that is why you can tell I am serious. I never, ever threatened to do this even when John was at his peak of annoyance and I don't like doing this either because it is such a bullshit drama queen thing to do y'know?
But still, bitch move or not, I know that we'll all be happier off without Adam.

And Mike for the record, it's not that I can't put Adam on ignore and stop replying to his shit. I can do that easily, the problem with that is that it doesn't solve the root problem. Adam is annoying as fuck and I still see his shit when others quote him or when others respond negatively to him or whatever else upsets the forum's happy place. Which while not ridiculously active was at least at that, in a happy place. Sure there are always members sniping at each other, that's part of the happy place. But what we have here (is failure to communicate...) is a situation where one is not actually a part of the rule as he might be perceived but the exception to the rule that should be rapidly excised.
