The WWE is a multi million worldwide company. Its last few years of profit and revenue are around if you want to look for it. It sounds like a big fish BUT.
I have worked for a bigger company.
And I am not talking about something like McDonalds when I was younger.
Or selling Coca Cola.
Or a factory.
I worked briefly in a distribution centre for super markets.
No big deal right people gotta eat. Distributing food to NYC would be big right? Think smaller.
Ok a large USA state.
Nope.
How about a smaller country then? Nope.
A richer province of a smaller country? Nope.
I live in New Zealand. We have 2 islands here population approx 4.5 million. 3.5 million in the North Island, 1 million in the South.
Not even that. We basically have two companies here in charge of the supermarkets. The one I worked for was the lower half of the South Island- around 350k people (market share with another company).
Selling food.
And its income was over a billion dollars with 50 million in profit couple of years ago. Even with the currency conversion from the NZD to USD they still made more money than Vince, selling food to 5% of our population (approx).
WWE is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. Its pocket change to the large corporations (Unilever, Nestle, Apple etc) and in size its revenue is more comparable to a regional super market chain serving a few hundred thousand customers.
