It's 50/50 IMO. Logic suggests that Bryan would go over, but logic doesn't always mean all that much in WWE. HHH has put over a few people at Wrestlemania, but not always. He put over Cena, but look at Booker T. It all depends on how much potential they see in Bryan. The only way HHH will put him over is if they intend to turn him into a maineventer moneymaker, which is still uncertain. Storytelling has nothing to do with it, really. For those who think there's no way Bryan would go over HHH at Mania, that's just not a smart thought process.
If Punk were taking on HHH at Mania, it would probably be HHH going over (which is reportedly one of the things Punk left over), but it would lead to a longer feud between the two as, from a storyline perspective, it would really be the first or second act of the feud and there's no reason to let the good guy win at that point. A Punk/HHH match would most likely start a feud that doesn't culminate until Summerslam. If it's Bryan, though, since there's already plenty of backstory between HHH and Bryan, it feels more like the last act and it's probable that Mania is the culmination of the feud (not to mention the fact that Bryan "lost" his last feud against the Wyatts to build up their momentum), which would mean it was far more likely that HHH loses the match to Bryan, ending the feud. Because, WWE's a morality tale, which means that, in the end, the good guy has to win most of the time and especially in the major story arcs.

Let's be real, about 83% of WWE Creative will have HHH go over Bryan. For those who think there's no way Bryan would go over HHH at Mania, that's just not a smart thought process.

We're jaded. Hope for the worst, etc. It's not even that hard to invent doubt. HHH put a lot of people over, yes, but that was before he became 'the greatest legend of all legends' as he seems to believe himself these days. And Bryan is small, don't forget that. Bottom line, Triple H is satan. No evil is beyond him.I can't believe anyone actually would think Triple H is going over Bryan at Wrestlemania.

You have more faith than I do, lol. I’m well aware of the distinction between HHH and Paul Levesque, and I’m certainly aware that old Paul will always be determined to do what’s best for business – it’s that other thing you mentioned that I’m skeptical about. You said HHH/Paul understands the business and knows how to make a star, and while that’s probably true, I still have to wonder if Trips will somehow convince himself that going over Bryan might just perhaps be better for business after all. I mean, think about it. You say they want to build new stars, but they’ve had plenty of opportunities to do that over these last few years and they still haven’t done it. Not even due to failure, more like due to refusal. They don’t want to make new stars. They’re more eager to offer contracts to short term old stars, and maybe that’s the scariest thing. Batista winning the Rumble and likely headlining Wrestlemania is a perfect example of the skewed and borderline delusional business ethic that might very well leave Bryan fucked in the ass on the grandest stage of them all. After all, Triple H is a “huge star” too, right? Why should he roll over for Bryan? Couldn’t they make more money in the long run if he went over and maintained his mythical image? To perhaps headline another PPV with Brock? Think of the buys!I can respect that folks are jaded. But you also have to remember that "HHH: The Greatest Legend of All Legends" (that's how I would type that...I'm a dork) the character is built a certain way and that is to be a heel. But "HHH" is different from Paul Levesque the Chief Operating Officer and Heir Apparent to the Throne of Vince McMahon, and Levesque is a businessman who understands how to build stars in pro wrestling, just like Vince McMahon does. If the match is between HHH and Bryan (of whom Levesque and McMahon have both shown themselves to be huge fans), then the smart money is for Daniel Bryan to walk away as the victor.
HHH is Satan. Paul Levesque is in it to make money and that requires new stars to be made. And don't forget that one of Bryan's biggest supporters is Shawn Michaels, who is (both kayfabe and in real life) HHH/Paul Levesque's best friend.

but somehow that just seems ominous.
