What I would do.....


Wrestler to take the title: AJ Styles

When: Final Resolution

In what match: Singles Action.

Build Up: Before Turning Point I would have the fans storm to the ring and announce they need a new saviour to take TNA to the next level. AJ comes to the ring and as the show closes we see fans holding AJ on their shoulders chanting his name. Next week Sting comes out saying that AJ is scum and the fans treating him like a God, AJ comes out a brawl ensues.

The weeks leading up vignettes air about Kevin Nash's return to the ring. Samoa Joe takes out Kevin but Sting comes out and beats down Joe badly, AJ tries to stop it but Nash has him covered. Next week Cornette announces a Tag Match Main Event at Turning Point, Kevin Nash's return to the Wrestling Ring, Nash and Sting vs. Joe and AJ.

At Turning Point Joe and AJ win but are beaten down again when Booker and Kurt come to help Nash and Sting. Next week AJ demands a match with Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Final Resolution. Cornette accepts but says he has to have three challenges first. The next week AJ beats Kurt and Booker when they mis-communiate and AJ rolls up Kurt while Booker watches. After that AJ beats Christian in his second challenge. Sting came down and hit AJ with his bat and tried to get Christian to pin him. Christian, knowing he was going to lose the match if it was not for Sting, throws Stung out of the ring and allows the match to go on. AJ wins by Roll-Up. The next week after that he is forced to take on Samoa Joe, his best friend. In a 30 Minute Match AJ wins and afterwards the get a Huge Applause for a great match.

At Final Resolution Aj defeats Sting and becomes t=the TNA CHampion, for those who were durious this is the rest of the major Matches.

AJ Defeats Sting to win the TNA CHampionship.

Kurt Angle Defeats Booker T and Christian Cage to win the Legends Championship.

Samoa Joe Defeated Kevin Nash in a Six Sides of Steel Match.

Why: IMO, Aj deserves the title. I would have liked to give it to him at Turning Point but it is too unrealistic. Sting sucks.

In what match: Normal Match

Build Up: Not too much. Since Sting isn't the leader of the Main Event Mafia, why the hell would he be champion?

Why: Because Kurt is the Mafia leader and he needs to main event taking on Styles for the title

Wrestler to take the title: AJ Styles

When: Not sure, depends on how the build-up is executed.

In what match: Singles Action.

Build Up: Coinciding with the whole respect storyline, both Sting and AJ are trying to get respect from each other. The feud gets personal with the main event mafia, they keep interfearing so that AJ cannot win etc. Eventually Foley grants a stipulation that none of them can interfear in the match. Sting makes some speech about if AJ Styles beats him he will leave TNA forever, if AJ Styles beats Sting then he will have finally earned his respect. No more fighting, just nodded head, all very respectful and solemn.

It comes to the match and this has got to be one hell of a match like MOTY, Sting and AJ give it everything they've got but in the end AJ Styles does it, he wins the TNA Heavyweight title. Sting and AJ Styles shake hands, and have both learnt respect from each other. Sting retires from TNA and AJ Styles leads TNA into a new era.

In what match:
6 Sides of Steel 4 way match Against Sting (c), Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe

Build Up:
Have Angel lay out a challenge for Sting on Impact on the 18/12/08, then have Samoa Joe coming down and demanding that he should be put in the title picture, then hae AJ coming down saying that he deserves a shot as he has been a monkey for everyone so he deserves a shot, then get Jeff Jerrett coming down saying if they want it they will have to give the fans a treat in a Six Sides of Steel match.

Why:
Aj deserves it and he could eventually fued wi Robert Roode, James Storm, etc. He could be the one to help bring the young talent forward.

Wrestler to take the title: Like everyone else said, AJ Styles

When: TNA Genesis PPV (which is now in January)

In what match: A singles match against Sting, for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Build Up: on iMPACT! after the Final Resolution PPV, AJ Styles comes out and asks Sting why he deserves so much respect. He asks why the young guys in the back should give him respect, if Sting doesn't give any respect to the young guys. Sting comes out and says AJ should be on his knees apologizing for what he just said. AJ then goes on to say that he wants to prove to the world that Sting doesn't deserve any respect at all, and he is nothing but an overrated has been who won't let the spotlight shine on the future of the business. He then challenges Sting to a World Title match at Genesis, the challenge is accepted. AJ then goes on to win the World Title

Why: AJ Styles hasn't held a World Title for a long time. He gave back to TNA by agreeing to do that stupid goofy ass gimmick earlier this year. Finally, after months of beeing a comedic character, AJ has returned as the badass that we all know and love. I think the New Generation vs Main Event Mafia feud should all culminate at Genesis, where AJ Styles beats Sting and gains the TNA World Title
