How to fix Kurt's farewell match.

When Kurt Angle announced that big boy Corbin was going to be he's last match ever, the whole entire wrestling community were speechless.

Baron Corbin ffs. Sure he is a promising talent and the storyline makes sense but this is just terrible. Kurt can't even have a good match with Chad Gable, let alone Baron Corbin.

Kurt picking Corbin to be he's last match is the icing on the cake of he's terrible return to WWE. All the kids must think Kurt is an absolute dweeb beta male cuck.

At least give Kurt an opportunity to redeem himself and not end he's career on bad note. He cannot put on a good match that the fans will care about with Corbin.

Obviously John Cena is the man do sort this mess out. Kurt and Cena can put on a entertaining sports entertainment match in front of a hot crowd that would be a fitting end to a legendary career. Sure it won't be amazing but it definitely could be something special.

Now there has been many conflicting reports surrounding Cena at Mania. I will take them all with a grain of salt. I believe that Cena replacing Corbin is very likely to happen.

I say have Angle cut a promo on Smackdown after he's match with AJ. He says he's going to beat up Corbin. Then Cenas music hits and storms to the ring and slaps Angle in the face. Just like he did all those years ago. Boom the match has been set up. Cena bears Corbin in the go home show on Raw and we have a much better Kurt Angle match at Mania.

Cena has a reason to slap Angle. He wants the old Kurt Angle back. Slap some sense into the silly old man. Picking Corbin for he's retirement match ffs. What a dumbo.

If I was a creative writer I would continue with the Baron v Kurt storyline but surprise the fans at Wrestlemania and get a huge pop out of them. I'd have Kurt come out first, then Corbin. As Corbin walks down the ramp a masked man attacks him from behind so he can't compete, Kurt then grabs a microphone and questions why the masked man done this, in which the masked man grabs the microphone and replies "Ruthless Aggression!" He takes off the mask and it's Cena, that is how it should be!

The sad thing about this is they picked someone that Kurt really can't have the best match with. And honestly, that is not his fault. Despite his health problems throughout the years, Kurt Angle is very well known to be crazy enough to keep wrestling even if completely cripples him.

Baron Corbin, who I once felt had a bright future, is really nothing anymore. His character is dumb, his matches are lazy. I see no point to this in any way.

I disagree. I think Corbin could use the feather in his cap. Especially with his character saying that he "retired" Kurt Angle, even tho Kurt was already planning on retiring. It would work for him. Even more reason to do it. Everyone will already be shitting on the match because Baron Corbin knows how to get legit heat from a crowd. Him going over to get more long term heat makes more sense than Angle going over and then leaving.

My point is that it will have very little impact. The match will die and it will be remembered as the worst of wrestling. Those shitty youtube channels will make videos about it. Corbin beating Angle in a shitty match that nobody cares about will not do anything. Shame for Angle. Angle should ideally lose he's last match. Shame it isn't a meaningful match that people are invested in. People are only invested in how much they don't want to see the match and go to the bathroom while watching it.
