How much time should each match get?

I was thinking about the card and wondering how much time I would give each match. This is what I came up with;

Orton/HHH: I would give them a good 35 mins. Mainly because it has been one of the most hyped feuds in some time. There will also be some run ins I suppose so you have to leave time for that.

Edge/Cena/Show: I'd only give them 10-15 mins. I have no interest in triple threat matches.

Taker/HBK: They will get around 20 to 30 mins and deservedly so. HBK always gets a good amount of time to work.

Hardy vs Hardy: It will be a spotfest. I'd like to see them pull a few spots and wrap it up fast. Like 10 mins is all I'd give them.

Miz Morrison/Colons: This will be the "workrate" match. Both teams can go. I have a feeling they will get short changed. But I'd give them 15 or 20 mins to go at it.

Diva battle Royal: 5 mins to give the crowd a piss break between the main events.

JBL/Mysterio: I have little to no interest in this. 10 mins tops.

MITB: I'd like to see this go 30 mins. I always think the MITB needs more time than it is given. I'd like to see a good solid 15 mins with Punk/Christian/Benjamin/MVP going at it with everyone else laid out on the outside.

Jericho vs Legends: I know this match will suck. But the overall segment should be given time. If Austin and Rourke get involved, give it 20 mins to play out.

Orton/HHH: I'd give Orton/HHH around 30-35 minutes...

Edge/Cena/Show: I'd like to see this match go 20 minutes, but WWE will probably only give them 10-15

Taker/HBK: I think this match should get at least 25 minutes. These guys need time to put on a show.

Hardy vs Hardy: 10-15 minutes, it won't be a great match, but it should be a good transition match.

Miz Morrison/Colons: They'll probably get around 8-10 minutes, but I'd give them 15-20.

Diva battle Royal: 6 minutes...

JBL/Mysterio: Should be a good opener, around 10-12 minutes.

MITB: Give it 30 minutes, hell give it 40, I'd even be happy if they gave MITB an hour lol, but it'll probably get 15

Jericho vs Legends: This will probably be an okay match, it could be a piss break...10 to 15 minutes maximum.

Yeah, last year's MITB didn't even get 15 minutes, so I highly doubt it will even get that this year.

Orton/HHH: Id give this one 30-40 mins, like CM54 said. Most hype around this match, there's going to be run ins etc.

Edge/Cena/Show: This will be a spot fest with Show's interaction being the key part - some cool little moves based around Show. 15-20 max.

Taker/HBK: Like this one won't get any less than 20 minutes. I'd push it to 30, if it were me though.

Hardy vs Hardy: I'd give this one some time to play out. If they give it 20-25(absolute max) they can make this a spot fest, but really help both guys out ... since their hype's been shit.

Miz Morrison/Colons: This can be played out well. With all the past face offs, they'll need to push this one longer. That, and the lumber jack stip will drag it out. 20-25 minutes.

Diva battle Royal: I still dont care. 10 minutes.

JBL/Mysterio: 10-15, mainly because it's JBLs final match (or retirement match)

MITB: Im hoping for a solid 20-30 minute match. Still a spot fest, but more and more spots the better.

Jericho vs Legends: This one will take time to play out. Slow, dull match with a possible run-in, 10-15 minutes.

HHH/Orton should be given around 25 mins including time for any run ins or swerves. The Triple Threat could be given around 18 mins of match time but I think it will get around 13, sadly. HBK/Taker will hopefully get over 30 minutes to be showcased, as should MITB. The tag title unification and IC title matches willbe given 10-12 minutes each but Mizorrison/Colons will hopefully get a bit more. jericho/legends could take up to 20 minutes with all the run ins, and I expect SCSA to make an entrance here. Hardyz will hopefully get 16-20 mins, but hopefully the match wont suck.

Give MITB and HBK/Taker over 30 and I'll be a happy chappy for the night.

Why waste an extra 10-20 minutes on a spotfest when you could add it to matches that matter?

HBK/Taker should be the longest match on the card, followed by HHH/Orton. I really don't care about the others as long as those get some time, everything else will probably only get 10 minutes or so regardless.

I'm going to try and also put the matches in the order that I think they'll go on.

JBL/Rey - This seems like the most obvious choice for the opening, but with JBLs announcement I could see them moving it up the card abit. But for now, I say they'll go out first, and get abit less then 10 minutes.

Money in The Bank - The MITB always goes on pretty early, and I don't see them changing that this year. I'd say the match will get around 15 minutes again, but I'd personally hope for a bit more then that.

Mizorrison/The Colons - I think they'll get abit over 10 minutes for the tag titles, maybe close to 15. I would not mind at all if this match went 20 though.

Jericho/Legends - I'm having somewhat of a hard time guessing how much this one will get. But I suppose with Jericho having to go threw all three of the legends it could take awhile to play out, so somewhere inbetween 15 and 20 minutes.

Hardy/Hardy - With it being Extreme Rules, I would really like to see them get a fair amount of time to play out the match, and get in some crazy spots. Somewhere inbetween 15-20 minutes, maybe around 17-18.

Diva's Battle Royal - I think I only need about 5 minutes to take a leak, and refill my drink.

Edge/Cena/Show - This match won't need much more time then last years Triple Threat, so around 15 minutes.

Shawn/Taker - Would love to see this get a shitload of time, atleast over 20-25 minutes, maybe even to 30.

HHH/Orton - With how the feud has played out, I'm sure this match will get a good bit of time. Maybe not even as long as Shawn/Taker, but a good 25 minutes.

Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show: It should get just around twelve minutes, I have a feeling this match will get boring after the first few minutes unless they decide to have Vickie interfere later on.

Randy Orton vs. HHH: Both of them can put on a good, interesting, quality wrestling match, their feud has been well hyped, it should get around twenty five minutes.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels: This has to be a classic WrestleMania match, both of them can work pretty good inside the ring for a long time, it should be a thirty mins quality match imo.

Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy: This won't be interesting at all, 7 mins?

Diva battle Royal: Although I hate Divas, Santino Marella should be interesting. 5 minutes imo.

The Miz and John Morrison vs. Colons: Not too sure on how this will work out but I want to see some amazing high-flying, fast paced action, should get healthy ten minutes.

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio: So repetitive and boring. Should be a one minute squash imo.


Jericho vs Legends: Just for the entertainment factor, 10 minutes.

MITB: This should be interesting to watch, have them go at it for 20 minutes.

Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show: It should get 15 mins maximum. i can see show and edge teaming up for a bit then edge turning on show. Cena becomes superman and wins it.

Randy Orton vs. HHH: 22 Minutes to be exact lol. Back and forth match up with one or two big spots in it.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels: This has to be a classic WrestleMania 25 match, both of them can work pretty good inside the ring for a long time, it should be a 35 minute match up

Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy: This should last about 12 mins? I think it will be disappointing.

Diva battle Royal: 10 minutes maximum.

The Miz and John Morrison vs. Colons:13 mins of non stop action i think here should be good.

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio: Boring i call it lol. 10 minute opener with jbl winning and retiring.


Jericho vs Legends: Just for the entertainment factor, 15 minutes. That includes rourke and Austin interference.

MITB: Should last 20 mins max im hoping for a little bit longer this year with Christian winning .
