I think the match will be good. Reminds me of Bully vs Sting in TNA. Everyone acted like it would be unwatchable, but I said it would be fun. I enjoyed the match, I believe most did. I think Show and Brock know what they are doing. Brock is going to stiff the fuck out of Show probably like he hasn't stiffed anyone, and considering how rough he got with Cena it is going to be great to see him knocking the piss out of the guy on the roster best suited to take it.
If they throw in a crazy spot or two that is just a bonus. Brock showing up at a PPV match to destroy someone is cause enough for me to celebrate. Big Show will be fun to watch him obliterate, bu that's just me. I guess if I were looking at it like 'WELL NOBODY BENEFITS FROM THIS' or 'BIG SHOW IS READY TO RETIRE, LET SOMEONE ELSE HAVE THE MATCH' I wouldn't be so eager, but thankfully I've started to move away from this smarky line of thinking and I just try to take things as they come and enjoy them for what they are.
I'm not passionate enough to be as smarky as before either, but just to look at it from that perspective...
-I fully expect the ending to this match to be something spectacular. Match quality will be exactly like you said.
-"Nobody benefits from this"... Brock does. Not that he's damaged by any means, when he comes out you still get this feeling of dread, you still yell "Oh, shit!" but still they can do more to rebuild his badass aura (even though they've done a nice job of that already) I don't think it's quite as good as it could be. It's not about "going over Big Show" as much as "HOLY SHIT DID YOU SEE WHAT BROCK DID! DEAR LORD! HE BROKE DAT BOY IN HALF!"
-"Let Someone Else Have the Match" You know that due to the limited dates each Brock match carries more weight since we remember it later on. Whoever faces him here will have to job, so why not have it be Big Show?
There's not a damn thing wrong with looking forward to Lesnar killing someone. I'm not the biggest Lesnar fan so I can't share in your excitement, but again: Smarky perspective. It doesn't matter since the Rumble sells itself. Anything good coming from this or the other singles matches is just a bonus since we're watching for the Rumble.
