The question on a lot of people's minds is how long will it be until TNA will be able to compete with WWE and that's basically what i'm asking you.

I think 2009/2010 will be the right time for TNA to compete with WWE I think 2008 is too ealry considering how WWE and TNA are compared now, TNA would have to do a lot. The 2 hours is a real boost to TNA for them to come as a threat to Vince and they have the roster to perform they just haven't shone as much as they can yet. If TNA sign all these people they claim to be signing it's gonna be great as well (please no comments on how Angle only let the ratings boost for a week) it should be great for TNA and it's only WWE loss from releasing Booker and RVD.

Ayway when do you think TNA will start to compete with WWE in the ratings?

^^Yeah right...

TNA is getting better and better. With the 2 Hour boost that means that TNA is going to go all out! They are going to make the shows count. They are going to compete in mid or late 2009.

Heh... if they can get a couple more big signings (Booker, RVD, Goldberg), go live, and start touring more they could get in the 2.0+ regions and possibly get close to it by next year.

Theres a very similar thread like this. Heres what I put:

Meh, as big a fan of TNA as I am, I just dont see it happening within 1 yr. Maybe 2 or 3, but not right now. Make some new stars and keep having the same match quality and expand out a bit more, and I think its a realistic posiblity. But the most important thing they need to do is go live, but as I said, not right now. Its just not a realistic poissiblity right now. Maybe in a few years

I don't think it's a matter of when, its still a matter of if they will ever get to compete with WWE. I just don't think they have the money and resources to get to the level yet. Unless the company gets taken over, I just cannot see it happening in the next 3 years. In fact, TNA might even go downhill from here.

I love TNA but i can never see TNA competing with the WWE because they appeal to internet fans more to than the general public. While WWE does the opposite and they both have two different fan bases. WWE's is obviously bigger because there are more regular fans then internet fans. I can bet if you ask anyone at a WWE show if they look at internet rumors most will have no idea what you are talking about. TNA needs to give more entertainment than wrestling if they want to compete and then all the loyal TNA fans will call it shit. But they will gain a bigger fanbase because of it and if they do that and start touring I can definetly see this TNA eventually competing with WWE but at this point in time and their direction they won't ever compete.

Like Enigma said, I cant see Tna competing with WWE unless something bad were to happen to wwe. I still think TNA should straigten out their finanicial issues, and stop trying to be WCW part 2. Myself personally think that if TNA were to go bankrupt, ROH could Piggyback and become competition. Although the odds are unlikely, i just have that feeling.

Even if TNA could pull a 2.0 they still wouldnt be able to compete in profits, PPV sales, Merchadise, Attendence, and almost every other measureable account. They got a long ways to go.

Well TNA's been doing good, and there only getting better from here on out. The signings they're making a rediculous in amount wise, but just overall may be worth the money. Well that's if King Booker actually was signed by TNA. If not, TNA may have to wait until another top guy becomes available. For now, they have Booker, Big Show, and RVD avalable. And that's about it. So it may be soon, or it could be in a million years.
