The Shield WTF?

I don't think they will be jobbing but after seeing what they have done lately the only one with a shot at a big title is reigns. Sad but true.

I disagree, I have no idea how you got the "Rollins seems to be the leader right now" theory. If anyone seems to be the leader, it's Reigns.

I agree about Ambrose, I agree that Rollins will be the face who fizzles out from the group. If anything Rollins seems the lowest in command at the moment.

Ugh, why did someone merge a hate thread into this one... -.-

I'm telling you guys, Rollins reminds me of an early Punk. Intercontinental Champion, Money in the Bank and World Heavyweight Champion!

StopSpot convinced me reigns is the one that will excel, so i'm going to roll with him and expect ambrose to be great at telling stories and rollins to be a good worker.

Agreed. Said this the day I saw him. More so Punk of a few years ago than current Punk.

Who the fuck merged a hate thread into my thread? Lame.

The way that Waco and I justified thinking that Rollins is the current "leader" is that he seems to speak for the group, their mission, but that comes from his more idealistic babyface character. They all seem to fill a form of leadership role. Rollins seems to speak for the group if one is to believe his part of the interview. Roman is the guy who commands them in combat since he directs the traffic. And Ambrose is the snake/advisor who whispers in the other twos ears.

But yeah. Rollins is the guy who will break from the group. I don't think either of these guys will be released. Ambrose if given the chance will be sniffing around the top titles, maybe not holding one but he'll be dipping his feet in the proverbial water. Most likely a high profile personal feud. Rollins will be in the upper mid card, IC champ definitely and Roman will use the US title in the same way as Cesaro does. Giving it exposure and letting the universe get to know him.

Urm he had one speaking moment and that's where he explained what they did it for. I agree with Waco that Ambrose seems to be the one manipulating (or could do) Reigns and is the speaker for the group, but the real "leader" is Reigns if anyone. Rollins seems down the bottom BECAUSE of his babyface characteristics, he doesn't take control of the promos (like Ambrose did) or the beat downs (like Reigns did). I'm sure your fandom takes some part here :pity:

If he was the leader, his turn on the group would seem stupid. You need to have him being forced to do some of the stuff, then show his discontent, and then react upon it by turning, similar to Batista's.

My fandom is without a doubt in full effect just like your's is for Ambrose. And I can agree that Reigns will be the leadership role. Will be interesting to see how this evolves. Anyone else impressed by the spear spot between Reigns/Ryback and Punk? I liked it alot.

When I think about it, I could see Reigns breaking away from the group. Hopefully not Evolution style unless it's for the Intercontinental Champion and whoever is Champion moves on to bigger and better things.

I understand why these comparisons are made but I don't see it at all myself. Rollins obviously does have some aesthetic similarities to Punk when he first joined, and both are exceptional workers - but that's it for me. Rollins is a fairly reserved guy who does his talking in the ring and is perfectly suited to the face role, whereas Punk is/was a loud mouthed asshole who was born a heel. Rollins is talented but I just don't see him getting anywhere near to where Punk is at the moment.

I am probably the biggest Ambrose fan but that doesn't effect my opinion on who the "leader" is (even though there is none lol). All I'm judging by is Ambrose taking control of the promo, and Reigns taking control of the ring.

That spear shot was epic. I was watching it back this morning (fell asleep last night) and I was fully expecting Ryback to just end the show standing tall as he's had two previous shows of being beaten up, so the eventual spear shot made me mark a bit. Becoming more and more a fan of Reigns tbh. Quite athletic it seems for a guy his size, and it makes the group seem a bit more intimidating. What also made me mark was the group not being afraid of Ryback and running off, Ambrose just standing there waiting for him to enter and then pouncing on him was a little mark-out-moment for me.
